Destination: Las Vegas, NV

I had the opportunity to stay at the Cosmo this year in Vegas. The hotel is located in the brand new city center in Las Vegas. This area consists of a few hotels, Cosmo, Aria and Vdara. The City Center is located in between Monte Carlo and Bellagio.

It's interesting though, how that South strip area has changed so much with this new area. On that side of the street, it used to be fairly easy to walk up and down. Now, there are stairs, and moving stairs, and walkways, and it seems that they sort of route you through areas, instead of you just walking by.

ROOMS: I had a one bedroom suite, and it was beautiful. The room was huge! There was a large sitting area, with a couch that could easily fit 3 people across, and a chair, along with a desk and chair, and a flat screen tv. There was also a kitchenette area with a fully stocked fridge, and a DISHWASHER for pete's sake! Crazy! We were warned though not to touch anything in the fridge or snack tray, as they all had motion sensors on them, and you would be charged, even if you just pick it up and put it back. It triggers the fee. So consider yourself warned!
The bath and shower area seemed to go on forever. The deep tub was in the shower area. So cool.
The balcony was nice too! I overlooked the South end of the strip.

CASINO: So you're probably wondering what the casino was like here. My take on the casino was that it was geared towards high rollers. Sure there were scattered penny slots and such, but the tables that were by all the main walk ways were all high roller tables. The casino itself was not large, and it seems that the casino was not the focus of this hotel. The focus was on the upper scale feel, the chandelier bar, and the Marquee day and night club
